We are now listed on the big search engine: you know the one. It is named for the number 1 followed by a slew of zeros. We don't necessarily want to rest on our laurels, because actually laurels in our part of the country are sort of prickly, more like a holly bush. But we are ready to take on  visitors now, and the pressure is on to provide some kind of content. So, we are borrowing a picture from another, now nameless blog that is soon to fade from memory of a partial moon with the clouds of a sunset underneath, a serene scene that pleases us no end.

We are sort of the opposite of an action hero when it comes to our blog. A kind of "non-action" hero, or would that be a "non-action villain"? We are not exactly villains, at least we try not to be, but we probably squashed some bugs while doing yard work today, so in their eyes, or their nearby relatives' eyes, we are probably some kind of monster. We did not intend to hurt them, but we had to cut some vegetation, and there probably was some inadvertent destruction of small creatures and their habitat.

So let us get back to being "non-action" heroes. We remember that from our early days of reading Alan Watts, the theologian / philosopher / beat-guru. That would be: 無爲; pinyin: wúwéi.  Of course that means a lot of you just lost me, because I tried to insert some Chinese characters into the English text, and that may or may not come out in the final results, depending on either your computer's ability to depict non-English characters and my computer's ability to depict such characters. Some of you may even say: "No way, wu-wei". In that case our job is done.
