We have had more rain in the last two weeks than we have had in the last six months. It is raining nearly every day. We are staying indoors and listening to the rain on the roof. The water tables and lake levels here at our headquarters are still below normal, and in fact the official weather station still has a burn-ban to prevent fires, though the vegetation is still pretty soggy from several inches of rain in the last couple of days.

But the lawn is greener, the dried out flowers in the flower boxes are starting to bloom again, the air smells fresh, so who are we to complain.
