A Memorable Halloween
We woke up from a night of lively dreams, but no ghosts haunting us. But the day turned our alright. We had some friendly visitors, later plopped down in front of the television and watched two different live ghost shows, we recognized the Ghost Hunters show, the usual green-lit infrared photos, and some other show that had what looked like a Plexiglas phone booth with high voltage jumping around, but it was impossible to watch because there were the sounds of what sounded like a car alarm echoing up and down the hallway. The guys were completely engrossed with the EMF meter or whatever ghost detector they were using and were worried about the temperature. Supposedly a temperature drop means spirit activity.
The local news had a Central Texas hotel with a guest telling about some shadow she had seen, it was outside of Taylor or Tyler, Texas. We had the usual shows like The Adams Family and The Munsters, which amaze us for their longevity, and Monster Quest with the hunt for creatures they never seem to quite find.
We don't seem to have any themed horror stories for sale right now, and we are too hopped up on chocolate bars to do any work this evening.
We have some frightening reading ahead, a supplement to the customer service agreement for our cell-phone provider. We don't know what it all means, it all has to do with some opt-in or opt-out provisions in fine print. We are scared that either way we choose there will be some kind of unforeseen repercussions.
