A 03/26/10 update: If you are following a link from a search engine, we had a complete book list of items that we have for sale in our online store  below that was moved and updated - we usually update it once a month within the first few days, so look for the corresponding date closer to the top of the blog.

This is one of our more intriguing entries, since in the weeks following its original publication a number of other websites went ahead and used the title "A Chill Came Over the Office" and portions of the part of the blog as part of their own content. Maybe they have figured out a way of reselling the text or "monetizing" the content by selling ads.

We are not exactly sure why the long list of books for sale on our My-Lynx-Associates.com website was so intriguing in itself, but it has been copied over and over again on a number of websites. This is the text that went with the original posting along without a long list of books that originally accompanied the text.

Something shorted out in the heating system, it was freezing in he headquarters of My-Lynx Associates. We were up early as usual, but we needed to have one of those snuggy blankets that they advertise on television. We got some extra rain today. And for those of you who live in the Eastern Half of the U. S., also known as "back East", that rain is something we treasure. It washes away the dust and dirt that accumulates in the crevices and corners of the West. So when we hear someone complain about rain, we put our fingers to our lips in the "shushing gesture" and hope the rain gods don't turn off the spigot.

This is what is was for sale on the My-Lynx-Associates.com website, it may be available on the other websites indicated on the right column of this web page, depending on the restrictions imposed by those sites. It is a long, and for some readers, a somewhat tedious list of over a thousand items. But we put it here in the hope that some poor wandering spirit will chance upon our seemingly random collection of books and desire one or more of them for their very own. Perhaps the Bohemian members of our audience might choose a verbal recitation. We don't need a dramatic rendering for ourselves, for this is in fact our destiny - to disperse these small rectangles of cellulose to the four corners of the globe, and perhaps beyond. Who knows if the sphere we live upon is Euclidean or non-Euclidean. The possibilities are endless.
