Holiday Ornaments

There is no shipping today at My-Lynx Associates. Not a creature is stirring. Except maybe the dog next door who is barking out Christmas Carols. The shipping department has a few rustling noises as the brown paper is twirled off the roll, but we are on light duty, the pressure is off for a few hours, the shippers are drinking egg-nog with some extra holiday spirits added. And they have had to review the company policy on imbibing adult beverages, and have been warned in our previous web log entry not to hit Santa. The Human Resources Department is very strict about such things.

The diagram below is not a singular dice (die), it was designed as three holiday ornaments against a soft backdrop of green. We have been flipping through books and television channels, and they all have red and green as the obligatory colors of the season, so we designed the motif below as a representation of the holiday.

You may, for purposes of this display, imagine three spherical glass decorative tree elements, rolling along on a billiard table of soft green felt. The field of excursion could be as limitless as your imagination, the surface could be frictionless, and the velocity could be as quick as desired, with the general idea that they are traveling in formation.

No expense was spared for this display. We are planning next year's display to perhaps include some energy-efficient L. E. D.s and maybe even have them blink. But it is too late for this year, we had to work overtime to get this one ready. We can say that we have configured the display to be sensitive to mouse clicks. You could be whisked to the category section of the My-Lynx Associates book store, should you choose to engage in some post-holiday shopping, but we are not pushing merchandise today, merely keeping our fingers limber on the keyboard.
