Not So Much Time
Sometimes the computer calls the shots, or more accurately, today our customers were calling the shots. The orders came in one right after another, we spent most of our waking hours in preparing orders for books. It was probably our busiest day in months for sales. So we say to our customers: "Thank You" for making our day busy. We have had dull, quiet days.
But we know that while it gives us ample time for deep thoughts and repetitive cogitation on the primary principles of humankind, the universe, matter, spirit, the condensation of ethereal substances, the sublimation of material objects into gaseous aether and so on, the bills for our monthly payments for our blogging efforts demand that we do not just cogitate, rather we must act in a manner that produces an influx of green and black cellulose squares into our coffers.
We spent this evening calculating our incomes, doing some calculations and paying money out to certain financial entities who require periodic payments.
So our creative juices are somewhat less juicy tonight. We have a couple of books with interesting patterns that we would like to elaborate on - here is one, from ancient Mesoamerica based on a floral or corn pattern:
