East Coast Orders Are Up!
Our statistics departments has noted the increasing number of orders from the snow-struck areas. They are shopping online, unable to get outside. They are ordering books from us, despite the inclement weather.

We had a little build-up of sleet on the windshield after we delivered our packages to the local Post Office. It is remarkable because we seldom see the frozen forms of water outside a mint julep glass, or some refreshing iced tea during the hot season. We turned on the rear defrost grid on the window, and it still works, after a long interval of non-use.
The water in the bird bath is still liquid, the temperatures are still not low enough to freeze anything. And our shipping department is humming along preparing books for their journey to colder climes.
Another day of quiet, gentle rain. Which is the way we like it. Not to fast, so to cause any mishaps, and enough to soak into the ground and slowly raise the water levels in the reservoirs and lakes nearby.
