Monday Night And What Is New

Here is what we got ready for today's selling. The R. E. Lee book is about the Confederate General, the author was Douglas Freeman. He won a Pulitzer prize for the full set, which was four volumes. We have only volume 2. The War Scare on the Rio Grande is a little-known bit of Texas history in the early 1900s when revolution was brewing in Mexico, and the action spread to both sides of the border and Robert Runyon, a local photographer kept professional taken pictures of that now distant time. Labyrinths is an out of print collection of short stories (in translation to English) by the great writer Borges.

We have been busy with other things about the business, such as sales and shipping so we limited ourselves to five new items. We are gazing out the window at the rising nearly full moon, so we are even more distracted than usual, though we are ready to leap into action should you place an order at My-Lynx Associates. Then we buckle down, get out the cardboard and wrapping paper and scotch tape, and there is a flurry of activity that some describe as "a blur".
