We have always wanted to go down to Big Bend, Texas. It is one of the most isolated areas of the country, and we have heard about the nearby mysterious Marfa Lights from an eyewitness, who confirmed their spooky, almost intangible existence that no one has ever thoroughly explained. We have one of only two copies of an older guide book to Big Bend. Maybe you would like to know more, or perhaps plan a trip to this intriguing area that adjoins the Chihuahua desert, or more accurately is part of the Chihuahuan Desert, adjoining the Mexican state of Chihuahua, sections of which are also some of the most isolated parts of Mexico.

It is illustrated with a number of color photos, and the author tells about some of his adventures in the area over the years. Most of the copies we looked are in libraries.
